You can use datadeploy, perl DBI etc to do the same, depending upon your requirement and DB schema
Are you looking for how to do the set up of DD conf files ?
What are you trying to deploy to database ? EAs, DCR, XML files ?
and please mention the version of OD_DD

Can you send the document that explains how to write to a file system using opendeploy.
Thanks.

You can find the docs on
https://support.interwoven.com/library/manuals/opendeploy/opendeploy.asp
or I would suggest to go for a training so that you come to know about the basic features of TS and where to find the manuals

Are you supposed to be administering, or installing/configuring/customizing TeamSite?
If so - you should read the manuals and/or take the training courses.
If not - you should talk to whomever at your site is responsible for administering, installing/configuring/customizing TeamSite.
This is a basic question having to do with TeamSite's desire to communicate with a
customer web server
- which my guess is you don't have installed and/or configured properly on your TeamSite server machine.

As Adam mentioned above have you installed the Customer Web Server ( Apache//IIS ) on you machine.
Have you configured iw.cfg file. Please see the below section. You need to configure this.
[iwproxy]
iwproxy_host=localhost
customer_webserver_host=<hostname where Web server is running>
iwproxy_port=1080
customer_webserver_port=81

I do not believe that these error messages in the log file and the error message you initially asked about are related.
You should probably contact Support.
