Dashboards in Taskspace

Hi All,

We need to display the dashboards from Documentum Data (not process data). Is it possible to use BAM in taskspace? I went through the PRS User guide and did not find any useful information related to that.

Please provide me any pointer to the relevant document to move further.

Hi,

What is Documentum Data? Is it custom object which you created or any content less object.

If it is a custom object or documentum object types you can able to use it in dashboards in PRS.

BAM controls you can able to find in Taskspace in Administration Tab under Server management.

Dashboard you can able to create it using PRS.

Thank you for the reply. Yes it is Documentum data (custom object types). I verified in the PRS and find that there is no way to connect to documentum object types. Can you guide me how can I go through?

Hi Raj,

If you want to use object types of documentum in PRS you need to do the follwoings

Let considetr "test" is the custom object type.

Open process in the process builder in which you have used "test" object type as a package.
Go to tools --> Process properties --> Enable Audit Trail ON (radio button)
Go to tools --> Process properties --> Select the package of type "test" and enable the checkbox can be used for reporting.
Save and Install the process.
Open PRS freshly after you installed the process. If you already opened the PRS while installing the process then restart PRS.
Create simple report
Select Business Data from the entities
Search for the "test" object type and use it for your report.

Note: In the Business Data entity the list will not be a sorted list. Your "test" object can be at any place.

Hi.,

As long as I know in order to generate reports based on Documentum data (custom type objects) only if they take place in workflows.You can use Documentum Reporting Services instead which allows you to generate reports based on any documentum object.
