filter EA list with targetTeamsite + EA's

OS 6.02 SP1

I need to do a TeamSite to TeamSite deployment and trasfer the EAs. I was thinking about using a targetTeamsite deployment with applyExtAttrs='yes'. However, I need to filter the list of EA's that are sent from serverA to serverB. For example:

foo.xml has the following EA's:
o title
o keywords
o object-id

When foo.xml is sent to serverB, object-id should not be sent over. Is there any way to do this with filters or a tuple preprocessor? Or are tuple preprocessors only for db deployments.

Also, if foo.xml already exists on the target w/ an object-id set, will the EA be deleted, or will it be retained.

IMOP you would be better off writing a script to collect the attributes you want and then set them after deploy.

yep, should be easy to handle this in DNR but its interesting to know if OD provides some functionality to filter the EA's :-)

As far as I know, there isn't. You'll likely have to take Brandon's advice and do a dnr.

We already have a process that does this as a DNR, but it is too many moving parts. We were hoping to do something in a more robust manner. Oh well....
