Which XPDL version is supported in Documentum Process Builder 6.5+

I cannot seem to find this information anywhere in an official source. I read somewhere that only 1.0 is supported (Import/Export operation) but is it correct info today for the latest Process Builder version?

Hello,

Currently, we only support XPDL1.0 (import/export).

But we are actively working on filling the gap we have and trying to catch up with the latest version standard.

We have two initiatives ongoing:

We are currently working with a BPM Modeling tool vendor to establish a partnership which will allow our customer to export some models and import them in Process Builder 6.7. The export model will contain some extensions which are going to facilitate the transition between the modeling tool and our design tool.
We are working to support XPDL2.1 in one of the future versions of our product. This is one big priority for us and we hope to be able to integrate this feature just after xCP2.0.

Thanks for the help! But, I could not understand why a new BPM Modeling tool is required for exporting from Process Analyzer and importing in to Process Builder? It is available currently by default, I guess. Is it required for supporting between different versions? Please current me if I am wrong.

Hello Sravan,

You are right, Process Analyzer is enough for the moment to import a model in Process Builder. But, we are currently working on replacing Process Analyzer with a partner product, this is why I was mentioning #1.

Regarding the support of BPEL, WS-BPEL and WSCI, unfortunately we don't support them.
