Installing Application Builder 5.3 - JRE problem??

I´m trying to install my Application Builder 5.3 in a machine, but it appears this error:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

So I think that the problem could be that I have to configure my application builder to use the JRE 1.5. I´m right?. Somebody knows how I can configure my Application Builder to use the JRE 1.5???

Appliation Builder is NOT a java app. Its a windows client. Make sure you are using older version of Windows. Windows 7 and Vista does not work.

It´s installing in Windows XP, so it should work ok.. How can I find out the problem??. What I have to do?

What version of XP? Make sure it only has the SP that is supported in release notes. Since 5.3 is no longer supported, there's no other way to get support except from the community.
