Forms Builder, Process Builder and Workflow Manager

I need to research about some requeriments. There are different users with different roles that they reject or approve documents as the same time they fill in formularys associated to those documents. I don´t know if I can do everything only with WDK and Workflow Manager. My question is: ¿is possible to build the formularys using only WDK or is it necessary the Forms Builder and Process Builder?. How can I know if I have the whole necessary functionality in Workflow Manager, or I need to use the Process Builder??

Read the user manuals for both products. Process Builder is newer version of WFM is additional capabilities, so I would see if your requirement is met by WFM. If not, then see if its in PB.

all right, I understand it. And Forms Builder?. When do I need Forms Builder?. I think that I can design a formulary using WDK, so why do I need Forms Builder??

Forms Builder is more like MS Access Forms. Forms Builder is fat client application that allows you to design form UI by drag and dropping UI controls on a form. You can do this using WDK, but you have to program your layout. Forms Builder was first developed as enhancement to WDK/Webtop for clients who wanted to develop forms based UI but didnt want to program WDK.

Do you know if Forms Builder and Process Builder requires a license independent of the typical content server licenses like Application Builder and Workflow Manager?.

And other question: I´m using the 6.0 version, does it works both tools with this version?.

You need to speak to your EMC Sales Rep about licensing. I do know that Process Engine (which Process Builder uses) is additional license than what comes with Workflow Manager.

There are version 6.0 of those tools; however, I'm not sure if 6.0 is available to download if you dont have extended license.
