Renaming of root container

Is it possible to change the value/name of the root container 'Media Database'. If yes then how ?

No. The server specifically disallows renaming the root or Deleted Items containers. Both have slightly different properties from "ordinary" containers and it would be confusing. Also scripts may rely on container names to distinguish them.
