Issue with perl encoding in Teamsite 6.5

Hi ,
We are facing an Issue with character encoding in Teamsite 6.5.
The workflow processes are failing due to the incorrect character encoding specification in the perl.
On 5.5.2, the encoding was UTF-8, and all the data records that have been saved with extended characters in this encoding are failing during the deployment because the workflow writes changes to the file in a different encoding which is corrupting the data records.

The error message we get is,
1) could not assert content id
2) could not parse the DCR

Hi All,
This is the response I got from Interwoven support ppl,

This problem is already being addressed in Bug request # 61237.
This problem seems almost identical to the problem encountered in problem 1222121.

This customer will be added to the list of customers that are experiencing problems as a result of this bug.
