Log Out Issues

Hi,

We've just noticed something a little odd. If I'm logged into both Teamsite and the OD Admin GUI and I then logout of the OD Admin GUI then I get logged out of Teamsite as well.
But if I log out of Teamsite I don't get logged out of the OD Admin GUI.

Does this happen to you too?
If so, do you know if this was always like this?

Just curious as it seems a little odd to me!

I just tried this out and didn't have any issues. Versions/environment are a bit different, but I would suggest contacting support.

Yeah I think we recently upgraded our OD to this version. I don't think we had this problem before this version.

I don't administer OD (only the rest of Teamsite) so not 100% sure. I think they're going to open a case if they can't find anything on the support site.

Did you check OD6.x's compatibility with TeamSite 6.1?
I remember reading somewhere that TeamSite 6.1 is not compatible with OD 6.0

Sorry, I got it reversed. TeamSite 6.5 is compatible with only OD 6.0.1.

But here's something from the OD 6.0 release note:

The OpenDeploy 6.0.x browser-based user interface is incompatible with the TeamSite 6.x
Tomcat software. OpenDeploy must be run using its own native Tomcat.

Could this explain the issue you're facing?

As far as I know - as we only have weekly a tele-conference with the guys in the US who admin the OD side of things - this has not been resolved.
The last thing IWOV came back was that the Admin Server should not be installed inside ODHOME, but on our DEV server - which we manage here in the UK - it is installed inside ODHOME and we don't have this issue.
The QA and PROD servers are in the US and do have this issue, although I highly doubt its got anything to do with location but something else.
