description of meta data

Can anyone suggest good tool for output description of meta data from repository.

For example I need information about type object (Type name,Super Type, Label ,Comment for developers ,Default storage area for object of this type , Default Document Lifecycle and so on) and attributes (Attribute name , Label , Data type ,Length ,Repeating ,Cannot be blank and so on).

Are you using xCP? If so, there is a great xCelerator called xAminer that you can install and it generates all kinds of reports for various objects in the repository.

Hi,

It is Composer.

Also, you can make dump object ( create dm_dump_record , see Documentum_Content_Server_6.5_Administration_Guide.pdf , page 51) . Dictionary's information are dumped with your object and can be found in dump file.

Also, you can use dfc
