DA 6.5 SP1 Authentication Error

I have deploy the da.war into tomcat server. I din't got any errors during the deployment. Then i configured the dfc.propertied file of da/WEB-INF/classes.

when i am trying to login to the 'da' / wp im unable to login. as im using the installation users account to login to the da.

the error im getting is

"we are sorry, Authentication failed"

You need to modify the WAR file before you deploy it.

im using same war's which is on production & im using same machine name, same db-SID almost everything is same except ips and database machine name still do still i have to ? if yes please guide me what should i modify ??

My response was based on your statement that you modified dfc.properties file after you deployed it. I dont what changes you made. My point was that you need to make these changes to the file BEFORE deploying it to your app serve. Make sure you clear app serve cache before restarting as well.
