Worksite - AD Domain User Login Issue

Hi,

We are implementing Worksite MP for one of our client. We imported the users from AD. The users are given a default facility and workspace.

When we tried to login as one of the user by using AD logn name, password and domain, the system is shows the following error message:

Your login attempt has been unsuccessful. WorkSite MP did not recognize your name and password combination.

If this problem persists, please contact your support staff.

===============================================

Please let us know the various places we need to go and check.

Note that we are able to login to Worksite as local users (created in Worksite using Library Manager) and create various workspaces.

Passwords are not imported from AD (or any other LDAP provider). When you import the users, you can specify the password in the bottom part of the import dialog.

The alternative would be to implement trusted logon.

what you might want to do is configure the password as the username so that way when the user first logs on they will have their password and then be prompted to change it.
