HIFI form edit&save very slow

Hi,

I am faceing performance issue regarding HIFI form editing and saving with default viewer of taskspace 6.5 SP1.

It tooks about 40 sec to save hifi form with 4-5 pages, file size less than 200KB.

Is this normal? How can I identify perfomance bottleneck and speed up editing and saving HIFI form?

Do you have ACS configured correctly?

No, ACS is disabled in my environment. With stricky firewall policy anything run on browser must communicate thru https to web server tier only. That is the reason why ACS on content server (middle-tier) is disabled.

If ACS can improve view&edit HIFI form, could you please guide me to resources about how to enable and configure ACS please.

With ACS enabled, wdk framework checks against the ACS cache to see if cached content is available. There is a wait period, so if ACS enabled, you sometimes see timeout issues. Since you have it disabled, this shouldnt be an issue. I would check with your network folks to see if the firewall is doing something funny.
