Is there any xcelerator to convert a MS Word document to a PDF? I have found XML to PDF but not .DOCX to pdf.
Any suggestions?
You could use DTS/ADTS to do this. Alternatively a lot of the viewer technologies will do this on the fly if that meets your needs.
What I have looked at in the past is a 'simple' rendition creator which used a set of commercial Java libraries (Aspose) to create renditions on check in.

thank you for the post.I have jumped to develop a custom xcelerator for converting docx to pdf.Not a big deal many java libraries available for easy transformation of docx to pdf.
My goal is developing a custom electronic signature which will sign using pkcs11 smart cards.I am able to read the smart card and sign any document with exeternal signature but I want to use internal signatures.My current goal is doc, docx, and pdf. I found out that there is almost nothing in java for signing docx with internal signature.But the pdf internal signature features are great and it is very easy to work with them using java.So for now I will convert the documents to pdf before signing, with an autoactivity . Any suggestions on this?

Hey Imran, wha´s up? what is the java framework you consider is the best to convert from word to pdf? This because my team found one that it have problems to covert the charts inside the word and it does not appear in the converted pdf.

The requirement changed and I stopped working on this.But so far I had found an easy way to do this is by using Open Office.

In my project there were big problems with the performence. I'm not advise u to use this product.
Did you try ADTS to answer your needs ?

You can use DOCX to PDF converter software to quick convert docx files to PDF format. The conversion software is available on online. I have used Kernel for word to PDF software. You can also used desktop based software for successful DOCX to PDF conversion.
