iwgen command in teamsite 6.5 on Windows 2000(urgent)

Hi All, I am very new to teamsite, i am trying to create xml file using "iwgen" command from command line,but i am not able to create any xml file.

C:\bin\iwgen -t "Y:\default\main\eCommerce_POC\WORKAREA\anujas\templatedata\content\prod\presentationdefault.tpl" -r "Y:\default\main\eCommerce_POC\WORKAREA\anujas\templatedata\content\prod\data\AAprod" -v "\default\main\eCommerce_POC\WORKAREA\anujas\templatedata\content\dmsbase\xmlload1.xml";

It gives an error something like
Build Teamsite : 56779(some number)

The "-v" gives you the version of the command. So that is not an error. Read up in the manual or look at the correct command line parameters with a "iwgen -h".

That's not an error - that's the result of using the -v flag - I suggest you re-read the documentation (in the manuals and/or by using the -h flag) a bit more.

"c:\bin" is that where your iwgen CLT is?
why are you using the -v switch? it is only for displaying the CLT's version

your syntax should be $iw-home/bin/iwgen -t presentationtemplatepath -r DCRpath outputpath

I hv point out one more thing...
May be by mistake u have put a space in path between templatedata folder name..

Unfortunately - it's difficult to go by postings because it appears that the vbscript (or whatever it is) processor for the new devnet forums occasionally decides to put spaces into text that does not have a space in it when originally written. It doesn't hurt to ask about the spaces seen in posts - but don't expect it to be the actual cause of the problems posted too often.
