Our taskspace application becomes very slow sometimes. We are doing RCA for the same. What we observed is

- the application server goes to 'Warning' stage with 'stuck threads' error .

- and also CPU utilisation in database machine is 100%.

When we restart the managed server , the application becomes fast . But this happens in regular interval of time. What could be the cause for this? and how to fix this issue? Please share your suggestions/solutions.

Is this is the out of the box taskspace or you have made any customization?

Have you seen the xCP performance and tuning guide as well as xCP best practices guide?

There are many suggestions and best practices for improving performance.

There is no customisation done for this application. And Yes. We are trying to accomadate the best practices.

Is there any way to fix this "thread struck" error in weblogic?

If there are no customizations then there should not be a big issue.What do you have in your application server what errors do you get in your application server log file?Please attach them to this post as well so it can help us to find out the problem.

we were using cutom tasklist forms. After removing those forms the perfomance is far better.

I suggest you read the xCP Best Practices guide. It describes things you should avoid to improve performance in Taskspace.

Thank you Johny. We suggested our customer its not advisable to include many columns in tasklist page. But they are in need of some information to be displayed in that screen.

Hi All,

Even I faced the same issue.

My Environment is xCP 1.5

Application will become slow and hang whenever we open the customized tasklist tab in taskspace.

If we set a default tasklist with default columns to user then no issues with performance while opening the tab in taskspace.

Need help on this

Upgrade to xCP 1.6. Taskspace 6.7 has a lot of performance fixes.
