DFC holds information about docbroker host which is used by client applications to connect to a repository.
It also holds information about global registry repository, like repository name, global registry user and password etc
dfc.properties mainly used fod this.
dfc.properties hold environment specfic information. Docbroker host and global registry repository are examples of this.
dfcfull.properties details the full list of values you can configure and their Documentum supplied default values
