view multiple pdf's in Single browser

Dear exports,

we've a requirement to open multiple pdf's in a single internet explorer browser.

I've triend to silent export pdf's to user machine but struck at opening these in internet explorer frames,because i'm unable to open these documents from user machine (like general view)

Please suggest any new way or please let me know by using existing view functionality of webtop ucf how can i open a document on client machine (we are using webtop 6.5)

How is the user selecting multiple files to view? This will drive the customization method.

Also, are you trying to open mult pdf in multiple tabs of browser or multiple instances? Based on what you have tried, Is concatenating the files an acceptable way to viewing them?

Hi Johnny,

Scenario is we have several sequence number and each sequence number has multiple documents. In them we have 6- 8 documents which are having sign on them.

I need to privde SIGN COMPARE as a one of option in TOOLS for sequence numbers.
When user selects particular sequence number and clicks on this SIGN COMPARE, i need to zoom and display sign part of multiple documents of that particular sequence number in single window (like displaying multiple pdf's in multiple frames of single browser).

To achieve this, i've silent exported all the required documents to client machine. I have also exported one static internet explorer page which will display the exported documents in frames.

But i'm unable to open exported internet explorer page on client machine.

Hi Sai,

FYI, WebTop uses applets (UCF applets) to open the document in the respective document viewers/editors. Try to implement a similar approach by,

1) Develop a simple applet to open a html in IE (sign the applet as you are accessing a client resource)

2) Download the documents silently along with a html with object/embed tags pointing to those documents (as you had already done)

3) Trigger the applet using Javascript(LiveConnect) to open the html which in turn will display multiple pdfs in one page.
