iwextattr failures?

Has anyone ever experienced random failures with the iwexattr CLT? I have not been able to reproduce the issue in a controlled environment, but when the system gets busy it seems like we have sporadic failures getting, setting and deleting EA's. Has anyone else experience this? We are not capturing STDERR at the time, but we see this in the iwprocoutput.log which might be related:
ERROR:00920: Object being looked up was not found

TS 6.5SP1 on solaris

I have not had such an issue.

The only thing that comes to my mind is that some issues do appear if they EAs come from Visual Annotate......
