rss output via forms

I'd love to integrate rss into my site and i'm wondering how any of you are doing it via forms? Almost all of my sites are templated and I'm trying to investigate an easy way to output both the rss link on my asp page perhaps via the existing tpl and output the rss/xml file. How are all of you addressing rss? My goal here is to not burden my writers with yet another field to have to fill out with content.

We are doing it by adding an rss.tpl as a second output, usually based on the main pages of the site. When we publish new indexes, this automatically runs, reading in the appropriate DCR's, and then writing XML instead of HTML from the results.
