How to get Previous activity performer in process builder

Hello All,

I have 2 manual activity in between I have 2 auto activity for business requriement, now when task available for 2nd manual activity. Task recevied from column in inbox showing name of previous activity performer i.e. repositiry owner. Default behviour.

Here I want to display name of the 1st manual activity performer name.

I am using Webtop inbox task. Can some provide any pointers on the same ?

Hi,

We do use an autoactivity before the manual activity with execution method none and set its performer previous activity performer.Here is how we do,

1.Manual activity 1,

2.Auto Activity 1,

3.Auto Activity 2, Performer of the previous activity "Manual activity 1".

4.Manual Activity 2

I thought of same.

Problem is that, my previous activity is Lifecycle Promote and it's performer is Repository owner.

Place one more autoactivity before your manual activity,

Set execution method to dm_noop_java or none and set performer "Performer of the previous activity "Manual activity 1""

So in your case it will look like to this,

1.Manual activity 1,

2.Auto Activity 1,

3.Auto Activity 2,Lifecycle Promote

3.Auto Activity 3, Performer of the previous activity, and select "Manual activity 1".

4.Manual Activity 2

Previous activity’s performer:

The activity will be performed by the same user or users who completed the previous activity in the workflow. This option can include multiple users. You select the activity name that has the performer or group of performers that you want to complete this activity.

unfortunately I don't have process builder right now to show how it is done.I will place the screens soon.

Hi,

1.The process, first performer-dmadmin, second-reposiory owner, third previous activiy performer, next dmadmin again.

2. Click on Autoactivity 2, Performer->By one or more manual performers->Previous Activit Performer->Activity 1

click Finish.This option is not available if you choose Automatically on behalf of a performer however it still works.

3. After this select second radio button Automatically on behalf of a performer, deselect Execute this method Automatically.Click apply, ok.

4.When I start the process here is the inbox item I get for the Activiy 3,

note that the repository owner is not dmadmin.It works fine for me.
