userorgrouplocator: show only my group and its users in Select User List

Hi everyone.

I want to change Select User list query.How can I do it?

in I am available -> Workflow Availability -> Select User all group and users are listed. But I want to show in this list only my_group group and its users. I have tried some way, but there is not any result.

onclick method on the edit link is onEditDelegatedUser which is behavior of com.documentum.webcomponent.library.workflow.availability.WorkflowAvailability class.

This method calls wfuseronlylocatorcontainer component.

Now we can customize ActiveUserOrGroupLocator class.

what have you tried?

Personally I would add a starts with "sw" filter with "my_group" and remove the other filters.

As it is probably the gernic user or group locator, you would need to change this to be your custom locator.... Where to do that might be a problem ... could be buired in java code of a tag

We use Taskspace and what we want to do is, removing documentum system users and groups from the selection when an end user click on I am not available and Workflow Availability -> Select User

only the groups and users we created should be displayed.

Is this is possible without customization,please give any pointers?

I have created UserOrGroupLocatorCustom (extends UserOrGroupLocator) and UserOrGroupLocatorQueryCustom (extends UserOrGroupLocatorQuery) classes. Tried change userlist query with customization these classes. but nothing happened....

I would check to see if there is taskspace version of these components. I know that they extended newfolder and created a tsnewfolder for taskspace, so you need to extend the one that taskspace uses.

First I created userorgrouplocator_component_custom.xml :

I can edit or add something to custom_userorgrouplocator.jsp. But my custom class does not work.

I have tried change user list by customizing UserOrGroupLocator and UserOrGroupLocatorQuery. But nothing happened. Following code does not work too.

You are probably right if you dont see your mods in the custom jsp. As I stated earlier, Taskspace might be calling a different component than userorgrouplocator. Did you try to view source of the component via browser?

Jonny, I have tried it. But do not found anything.

I have modified wfuserorgrouplocator component. it does not help too.
