getUserByLoginId()

Hi ,

Iam facing problem getting User Object from workspace.getUserByLoginId("id"). here it is returning null object. and it is working for admin users (i.e. created users explicitly in library manager) . i developed one workflow and passing user id in hidden variable and iam getting that id and passing that id in getUserByLoginId .

User actorUser = ws.getUserByLoginId(activityActorName);
System.out.println("actor user is "+actorUser);
String activityActorName = actorUser.getFullName();

can you help me as early as possible

You said that is it working for "created users explicitly in library manager". Are you adding user trustee?

i have created master realm (called myrealm) under Trustee and i created users in that realm means i selected myrealm and right click on myrealm then it is displaying add and i added users . for that users getUserByLoginId is working. and also i imported users from ADS. For Those users it is returning null object

It entirely depends on your ADS setup/configuration/how accessing. It would be very dificult to suggest/point to the problem so I better if you contact to support.
