DFC Import Operation - Attach Lifecycle Error

Hi,

We are getting the following error while importing files through DFC:

[DM_POLICY_E_CONNECTION_ERROR]error: "Error connecting to docbase as user dmadmin."; ERRORCODE: 100; NEXT: null

dmadmin is our supersuser.

We are creating the IdfSession object with a different user.

After importing each file, we are setting some attributes.

This error occurs after about 25 files are imported.

We observed that the error goes away if we remove the current node

before adding the next node to the operation during import.

Could you please help us with the rationale behind this behaviour.

Is it related to persistence of silent login sessions in the repository.

How are you establishing dmadmin session? Are you closing the session afterwards?

Hi Johnny,

Thanks for your response.

We are creating the session with the user name 'testwp'. We are releasing the session in the finally block,

through the Session Manger.

We are nor creating the session for the user 'dmadmin' explicitly. It seems that the session for 'dmadmin' (who is the superuser) is being created automatically for the attach lifecycle method .

Please post your code where you are attaching lifecycle. Also, are you executing this code as part of server method or part of app? If app, what kind (is it custom DFC app or part of WDK)?

This is a custom DFC app to import files to the repository.

Please find the relevant portion of the code below. The code works fine if the line

'operation.removeNode(node);' at the end of the code snippet is uncommented so that the loop count is always one and does not keep on increasing.

However, if we comment the line we get the error after about 25 imports.

Why are you executing these statements within the loop, since they will always return the same value:

IDfACL acl=(IDfACL)session.getObjectByQualification("dm_acl where r_object_id='450aba5f80016109'");

IDfSysObject busPolicyObj = (IDfSysObject)session.getObject(new DfId("460aba5f803af8f6"));

Try moving the code outside for loop and see if you get same issue.
