Hi,

Installing Content Server in windows cluster mode:

There are few questions you must answer before starting the installation:

1. Is the CS Node1 and Node2 are Active Active or Active Passive.
2. Is the OS clustered?
3. Is the DB also clustered?

Just follow the below steps for CS clustering:

1. Install CS on both the nodes i.e. Host1 and Host2 with same CS version.
2. If using oracle then install oracle client on Host1 and Host2 or if using MS SQL then setup ODBC on both the host.
3. Create DocBroker or Connection Broker on both the host.
4. Create DocBase or Repository on Host1
5. Host2 look for Server_Configuration_Program.exe in %DM_HOME%\install directory and execute cfsConfigurationProgram.exe
6. You need to select the same mount point or same drive on both the host.

Note:

1. Content and Both DB must be stored on SAN, and the same should be accessible from both the host.
2. If Host2 CS also process workflow task then see the dm_server_config object for Host2 CS & update workflow specific instance numbers.
