How to narrow down the search results on Search Engine

Hi all,

I would like to know how to make fine search on the Interwoven Worksite MP search engine. Suppose i want to search for ABC as a keyword. When i enter this keyword i get say 50 documents with also "ABC" too but how to make the search facility effective so that i can get the ABC directly once i enter this keyword. This search engine has the facility of Taxonomy and tagged based search.

1) Suppose i want to search a keyword "XYZ" i will type it on the text box of search enigne. and i hit the button "Search".
2) Hence i will get too many search results containing keyword "XYZ" like wise in google search. The number of documents i get say about 50.
3) But how we can reduce the search result documents from 50 to say only 10 by applying AND / OR operations so that i get narrow search results.

In all, to enhance the search capabiltiy of Interwoven WOrksite MP!

You can search in two ways 1 single word 2 phrases

1. If you are giving XYZ then it will search all records contain XYZ word, if you are getting 50 results then you have to use phrases like XYZ ABC.
2. You can use wild card characters like
? (for single letter macth) Eg na?row will match narrow, natrow etc
* (for multiple characters)
3. If you are searching multiple words then you can applu AND (to narrow search) , OR (broden search) eg ABC AND XYZ will search records those contain both XYZ and ABC words.
