Cann not install process tamplates

Hi Experts,

I have two quetsions,

1. Which tool do you use for moving process templates from one repository to another.As long as I know this is done with Composer but I am just wating my time every time when I try to move the process templates I get errors.

2. For now I have several processes about (20) and I imported them from development environment into a documentum project with Composer.

Now the problem is that I can install this dar to one repository without any problems, but I get errors while installing the same dar into another repository.

Note that all configurations and versions, Java version,Composer version, CS version, Task Space version on both environment are the same.

Do you know what can cause to this problem, it is almost inpossible to work in this way, when ever I create a new process I have to spend hours on moving it to production with composer.

Are you doing in the same way too?

Thank you very much for your posts. But I am pretty sure that the failure was due to the dfc support script.

It creates some sort of workflow objects and I don't know why it failed, could not execute the script in anyway.

Even uninstalled all documentum software reinstalled did not work, while repository creation the script failed again.

Note that if this script fails, no process template can be installed to the docbase with composer, all will fail.

The problem solved only after formatting the sever, there were no data in the docbase so I formatted it reinstalled everything then the dfc support script also run successfully , successfully installed the dar file, no any problems.

Did you install something else in the other repository? Maybe there are some existing objects in the problematic repository.

No, it was a clean docbase.

I have created a test process in the same docbase then imported it to composer tired to install it back to the same repository even it fails.No process template can be installed to this docbase.Now I remember that when creating this docbase the dfc support script failed, I guess this is the cause but not sure. Can this be the reason?

Not sure. You should still have a log of the repository creation process.

Hi Imran. Could you post the log file ? Your workflows templates are from workflow manager or process builder ? Sometimes you need to install an additional dar file to be able to install workflow template from process builder.

Hi Imran,

First, make sure that you have Successfully connected to docbase

Second, make sure that you have enough priviliges in the target docbase to Install the workflows.

If possible please post the error log while installing the DAR.
