Actions in Taskspace.

Hi All,

My requirement is to create a Actions in Taskspace, so when i select a form in Taskspace witch were created by using Actions(from landing tab), so that it automatically starts a workflow and the package will move to next activity.Here my problem is i'm unable to select "Process to select" option it's hidden.

Please help me out with this query.

Why do you need "process to select" option? This is part of the process intiate component b/c the assumption is that you have many workflows to choose from. It sounds like in your scenario, you have a specific workflow that you want to start. If that's the case, just hardcode that workflow name in your action.

Unfortunately, I got one more problem when i hardcoded a workflow name in Actions, i.e., I got a Process Data Mapping in workflow when i try to run my application it is not assigning Process Data Mapping to the form.

Please help me.

You should be able to use Process Debugger in Process Builder to see why Mapper activity is failing.

Thanks for Response. I tried using Process Debugger in Process Builder but it's not getting any value when Actions are used. But when I tried to use the same workflow without Actions every thing working fine i.e.,process data mapping working fine.

Are you using mapping form fields to process variables when you are starting the workflow? It would be helpful if you posted screenshots of how your app works without using action and how it doesnt work when using action.

In Process Data Mapping 2 diagram, why arent you mapping package variables like you did PDM 1? I'm not sure why you decided to change Process Data Mapping activity. It should still work, you just need to attach the selected document (using object Id from the action) to the workflow package as part of launching your workflow.

Wish you Happy New Year.

My requirement is once the employee fills the Apply For Leave form and when he clicks on Apply button, the form has to go to the Manager. He has an option to select Approve/Reject dropdown button and he need to enter Comments field wich is a text box thus why, I mapped lma_leave_status and lma_comments in PDM 2, so that this attributes will stored into the Repository.

As i shown in the above screen shots. I hope you understood my requirement.

I dont understand what you doing. Your original post said that if you hardcode the workflow name, the process data mapper doesnt work. Then you posted two different version of process data mapper activity. My question is why did you change it. If the first one worked when you didnt hard code it, it should still work when you hard code it.

BTW - what version of Process Builder/Taskspace are you using? I just saw this in another thread:

"if you have 2 or more packages and you don't mark one of them as visible in your manual activity then the task data submitted by the manual activity performer will be lost."

This seems to be a new bug for 6.7 SP1.
