Hi!
I would like to know if there is any way of editing the advanced search template used by webtop (or something similar) with forms builder to edit it, and afterwards be able to use it in a taskspace application.
Thanks!
If there are Accepted Answers, those will be shown by default. You can switch to 'All Replies' by selecting the tab below.
AFAIK, there is no forms version of advanced search that you can edit in Forms Builder. If you want to use advanced search component in Taskspace, just install the Advanced Search xcelerator:

Thank you! But I can't find it anywhere...I've been looking in the EMC download center but I found nothing. Where can I find it?
Did you click on the link?
Yes, I found it! Thank you! But now I have another question, is there any way of editing an xCelerator with FormsBuilder? In my case is the advanced search xCelerator.
I'm sorry, I've just seen in your previous answer hat is not possible with FormsBuilder, but I suppose that it will be some way of editing it's options in taskspace, won't it?
No. The xcelerator is just a wrapper around the Webtop/WDK advanced search. All configuration of it is done via wdk customization model (not Formsbuilder or Taskspace). The only Taskspace configuration is the creation of the tab that calls the WDK component.
Ok! I've installed tha faceted search xcelerator, but it doesn't work...The installation consist in copying some files into the taskspace deployment folder, and when I perform the copy, something extrange happens. Only one of the files that must be copied already exists in the folder with the exactly same name. If I replace it, the taskspace doesn't work any more (http 404 error), and if I don't do it, the taskspace works, but when I access to the search page absolutely nothing is displayed (I see the whole page in blank)....What am I doing wrong?
I havent tried the faceted xcelerator (it just got released a few weeks ago). The advanced search xcelerator works fine in my environment. For the advanced search xcelerator, it deploys xcelerator in custom folder, so unless you have already installed this before, it shouldnt be overwritting anything.
Anybody happen to have the faceted search xcelerator install still?
