Increasing time while running the program

Developed one program which connect with database and after doing some bussiness login upload the document in docbase. As this program runs for 10000 number of documents while establishing connection with database also. Initially , It was running fine....but now, Time is increasing for uploading.

created a program in eclipse.

Please suggest what would be the reason? and solution?

any help is more appreciated.

can you please explain the process more in detail? Why do you connect the database also?

You have to find out in which process step the performance goes down, for this I would use the debuggin features from eclipse.

Hi,

Could you clarify whether you connect to the repository's underlying database or a seperate database?

Is there any network latency for database and documentum connections?

Also validate your connection management code with database and repository to avoid any session leaks. Enable debug mode in log4j to know if any DFC session/collection leaks.
