Document Preview Issue in Taskspace app (folder contents template)???

I have created a folder contents forms template. Whenver the particular folder type is selected, folder info and folder contents. configured in the folder view for that folder type (custom folder) opens. The problem however is, the preview of the folder contents list. We have brava viewer configured in the taskspace for pdf and word documents). Whenever, i select any document in the folder contents list, nothing shows up in preview and the 'default text' - 'Select a document in the list to view here', in the preview doesn't change. I have looked at the xforms log and it doesn't show any thing major. All it shows, is that getDocumentview is called. This is kind of urgent and if any one can shed some light, it would be great. I have checked the preferences for document preview settings and it is opted for inline view. Also, whenver i select the document in the folder content list and right click to open, it pops open in the document in a popup window and dows open with brava viewer. PLEASE HELP!

Please confirm how you are verifying this:

- This doesnt sound like how you would configure docviewer for a particular format. Please post screenshot if you can.

I mean, we have configured in formats and viewers section of the taskspace configuration, to use 'Brava viewer 7' for pdf and word documents. I meant, in the taskspace application, user can set the 'preferences' by clicking the preferences button at the top right corner and in that, 'inline view' is selected for the document preview. When i select the document and click open, it pops open a window and i can see the document opening with brava viewer. Brava viewer set up is right but the problem is with preview. When the document is just selected, the preview should show the document in brava viewer. I have recreated the folder contents template, just to see if the form template is the issue but it behaves the same way. Thank you for your response.

Instead of clicking open, if you select the pdf, your inline viewer should display it automatically (if you have it configured correctly). Make sure that you have the inline viewer expanded (its sometimes minimized to right and you have to click on left hand bottom near the top of the pane.

I believe it was configured correctly. The reason why i say is because, i have tab to show the folder template form and the contents of the folder is overidden to show the custom folder contents form. When i select a document here i previews on the right using Brava. The same contents form is used in the taskform and when i select a document, it doesn't preview.

So its not the form, but how the form is getting called (from taskform) that is causing the problem. Can you post screenshot?

I just checked with Tech support and they say its a know bug and bug number is TSP 8456. Taskspace has to be patched with hte latest patch available for 6.7 from powerlink. I will post if this is fixed.

I have this problem all the time on a custom type folder view.

I configured the preview not to be displayed by default but when I click on the maximize arrow, the preview pane minimize instead of maximizing.

Is it a known and references bug? can it be corected with a patch (currently we have 6.6 P20)
