User not able to receieve Inbox notification

Hi,

One of the user is not receieving inbox notification for workflow process of Document, Please let me know which server to check for which Log,

Alternatively is there any DQL by which we can see, why the user is not receieving inbox notification?

Are you saying that the user is not getting any notification in Documentum Inbox? If so, you can run this DQL to verify it:

select * from dmi_queue_item where name='John Doe'

Yes try

select * from dmi_queue_item where name='John Doe'. THis query gives you all the notification for this particular user. Are you sure this user is involved in a workflow ?

Yes I have used the query, and by various combination, I figured out the User is recieving general Alert type notification, but the the notification specific to the document is not being receievd By the user(By checking item_name atrribute):

So should I check if the user is part o workflow or is there any other think you guys like me to investigate?

Yes, check if the user is part of the workflow. If this user receives other notifications, surely is not part of the workflow. To perform test of the inbox, you can set up a new workflow template that send a task to this user (name it directly in the workflow template). Then you will be sure that he's part of the workflow.
