sun Portal Server Portlets and Interwoven
Surjendu
Hi
We are using JSR 168 Portlets ( Sun Portal Server) to talk to Interwoven content. Can some body tell me how can i do that. We are using the OpenDeploy product to distribute content and the Application server where the Portlets reside also act as the receiver. As far as i understand the actual content would lie on the physical file system on the Application server. How would the portlets show the content on the browser. Will it create an url which would point to the document? Is there a way i can spit-out the binary data of the document on the portlet and let the portlet handle the formatting? Are there any other API's to do that? Has anybody done that before? Any help would be highly appreciated...
Regards
Surjendu

We will be shipping a new version of TeamPortal in December that will contain JSR-168 portlets for TeamSite. At this time, we are not going to be certifying the portlets on the Sun Portal server. The portlets should work though because they are JSR-168 compliant.
thanks
