Content privacy [storage] based on geographies.

Hi,

We have a requirement that states that content from different geographies should only be stored there due to various laws.

say, Content from Germany can only be stored in Germany.

We have a content server setup in US with filestore in US only.

Now how can we work with this requirement so that when a user from Germany upload a document, it should be store some where in Germany .

We don't want to have seperate repositories for each reagion.

You can define distributed storage (for each country) and then configure each object type to be stored in its appropriate file store. You can use other criterion (besides object type) to configure where content gets stored. Look at Content Storage Services product that is part of the extended Content Server feature.
