How to Verifies Whether Content Server Load-Balanced or not

Dear Experts,

We installed two content servers with single repository with content server load balancing mode, as specified in installation guide(ContentServer_EnterpriseEdition_InstallationGuide_6.6.pdf) Chapter 9, Installing Remote Content Servers in Distributed or Load-Balanced Configurations page no 109, Installations and configurations are done successfully as specified in installation guide.

How to check whether really Content Server is Load Balanced or Not.

For E.g. two users are connected from Webtop from their workstations how to check which user connected to which through which content server (which Content Server serves which Client Request).

Failover working (if one content server down, still I Can able to log on to my repository using other CS), I want how Content Server Load Balancing will work internally.

If you look at the session info (using DA), you should be able to see which CS you are connecting to.

How do I found from session information, which does not contains any information about content server.

I written a program to create 10 sessions(DFC)testuser1,testuser2.... and ran it from local PC, below are test results, how can I found that which session created from which Content server. Please find my attached screen. Session Info.png

You will get the same list when you execute the "EXECUTE show_sessions" command in DQL editor. Execute that, from the result, fetch the root_pid value for the session and check which content server runs documentum process with that PROCESS ID.

You have two content servers. Do you have two app servers (for webtop)? If so, each of them should be connecting to the appropriate Content Server (Webtop1->CS1 and Webtop2->CS2) and client host name displays the host name.

Hi Johnny,

You are correct, but I have only one Application server. How do I check in this case, any way first I will try Karthik suggestion.
