How to get IDfWorkitem in datasource adaptor code

Hi,

I am writting a custom datasource adaptor for populating a dropdown menu in a tasklist template. The values that have to be populated should be based on the value of the SDT variable in the workflow. how do i get the IDfWorkitem object in the adaptor code?

Can you give more information about your requirement? STD-s also can be queried using workflow id, can't this help you to achieve to your goal?
