TaskSpace Preferences - Standard options for all users

Hi all,

has anyone looked into providing a standard set of preferences for all users in TaskSpace?

My client wants to remove the prefernces option from the screen but also wants to change the OOB standards.

It seems that the current method of storing preferences is as a cookie on the local machine. Im assuming that no record of choices are stored against the user in the repository.

Are there any options via the XML /JSP or would we have to customise the TaskSpacePreferences code to set default values?

What version of Taskspace are you using? I know that a few preference settings are still stored as cookies, but most of them are stored in the global registery/repository.

its 6.5 SP2.

Where and as what are they stored as in the GR? I was hoping that I could do a simple DQL update on an object to set them.

I'm not sure if you can update them using DQL, but I think if you look in the WDK Development Guide or Reference Manual, it should describe how to retrieve preference values.
