how to retrieve path of a file on a server

Hi all,

I am trying to retrieve the path of my dcr files.
Aim:to get the list of all dcr files present in the data folder

Through Perl script i want to get the absolute path of \templatedata\Test_save\product\data

Please suggest any alternative way to achieve the same.

First, you need to provide context - both in terms of the version of the product(s) being used and in terms of where/when/how this script is to be called.

Second, you should be bringing something of at least an attempt to implement what you want - as opposed to asking for for free coding assistance on the forums. Traversing directories and getting lists of files in directories is fairly easy stuff to do in Perl - if you don't know how to code in Perl you should:

Learn - read books, take classes, practice;
Hire someone who does know how to code in Perl - and try to pick up pointers from them; or
Choose a different language to use for programming in - and hope that you can figure out [or get help to figure out] how to integrate it with TeamSite.

If you take the time to try writing it yourself and get stuck on something - then you should post your code, explain what is/is not happening and someone will very likely help you - either by explaining how you should debug it or fixing bugs in your code.
