Workflow setup
rudra
Hi,
I am using Teamsite 5.5.2 and am using the workflow there. The problem that I am facing is when I am trying to execute any workflow, even the ones in the examples folder, I am getting the error "ERROR:00028: Insufficient space to complete operation". This is happening because the workflow engine is not passing the three default parameters for workflow id, task id and workarea. Could anyone give me any idea as to why the default parameters are not being passed. Is it a problem of the workflow engine not being setup properly.
Thanks,
Rudranil

First, 5.5.2 is EOL's so you should be looking to upgrade to 6.x as soon as possible if you want to get [official] support for the product.
Second, at what point are you getting the error?
- When invoking the workflow before filling in the job instantiation form?
- When invoking the workflow after filling in the job instantiation form?
- During the exectution of a cgitask or externaltask?
- Other?
Third, the error message: "ERROR:00028: Insufficient space to complete operation" sounds like a disk space problem.
- What kind of disk space do you have available on your TS server, for all of the various partitions?

Why are you making this assumption ?
IMHO, I would look at the error message. If the backingstore is > 90% full or less that 50MB on the disk then
the BS will lock and you cannot do anything (like invoke workflows).
Also seriously think about upgrading.
