Datadeploy 5.6 Problems

Hi All,

Environment :
Teamsite 6.1 SP2 / Solaris
Datadeploy 5.6

Iam trying to deploy manualy a dcr which is of type [dcr-type="xml"] using a Datadeploy configuration file (_dd.cfg). The command i tried to execute is as shown below :

/iwenv/iw-home/datadeploy/bin/iwdd.ipl cfg="/default/main/prd/intranet/includes/WORKAREA/includes/templates/Communications/NewsCategory/input/NewsCategory_dd.cfg" deployment=frontend_BEE myarea="/iwmnt/default/main/prd/intranet/communications/dep_ads_mst_03/STAGING" mybasetable=NEWS_CATEGORY mytemplatepath=templatedata/communication/NewsCategory/data

When i try to execute the above command i get ### IWDataDeploy FAILED ###.
In the error log i see the TUPLE section as below :

i have attached the iwddd.log, dcr and NewsCategory_dd.cfg (datadeploy Configuration) files.


I suspect the TUPLE section. Since in my NewsCategory_dd.cfg file i do something like this to deploy the data from dcr to database :

<column name="DISPLAY_ORDER" data-type="INTEGER" value-from-field="CategorySort" />
<column name="NEWS_CATEGORY_TYPE" data-type="VARCHAR2(250)" value-from-field="Distribution" />
<column name="VISIBILITY" data-type="VARCHAR2(50)" value-from-field="Visibility" />

Please can anyone help me on this !

Hi All,

Finally i found a solution for this !!
So people how are trying to use [dcr-type=XML] instead of the default [dcr-type=IWOV] the solution is to add a "custom=yes" attribute for the teamsite-templating-records element in the Data deploy config file. So then you will not have the wired ERROR output as i saw for the TUPLES :

Teamsite 6.1 SP2 / Solaris
Datadeploy 5.6
