DM_FIX_ME.............

2 threads were parallely migrating documents and went to create a folder(XYZ) under same path at same time..

1 of the thread was able to create the folder xyz.

The other one created dm_fix_me_r_object_id_2012-02-13 09:19:34 folder and migrated few documents there but they shoud go under XYZ.

Error:-

DM_FOLDER_E_RENAMED_FOLDER_INTERNALLY]error: "Multiple sessions tried to save a folder with name ( CSR ) simultaneously

Actually i am not aware of what DM-FIX does and any info on this.

I want to know more on this.

Looks like instead of aborting the entire transaction, your code (or server) created a folder with different name that was already taken (XYZ).

This can be avoided if your migration code check for the existence of the folder before trying to create it. Folder names need to be unique, so the server prevented you from creating a folder with the same name in the same parent folder.

I have run into this doing migrations before. The only fix I found was to manually move the files and folders in the dm_fix_me folder to their proper destination, or delete them and remigrate.

Actually i am looking for some theory, that in what cases DM_FIX come into picture.

Does it have any other related stuff.etc.

I think the answer is contained in the error message. When two separate threads try to create the same folder and the same time, the losing thread is renamed with the 'FIX_ME' prefix.
