How can I move the updated data model from Test to Prod?

Hi,

I have updated our data model in test environment using DA. In fact our coworker added new object types using DA. Now I need to move those changes to Production. Upto 5.3 I used Application Builder/Installer and I could achive the updated data model in test to create a DocApp and install it in Production. It was online because both Application Builder/Installer used to connect to Docbase (test or prod), but now I need to use Composer and connect to test docbase to create DAR file. My question is how can I connect a docbase using Composer and pull the updated data model to create DAR file?

Please share your knowledge and experience.

Composer is based on Eclipse.You only have a file (dfc.properties) to connect to the repository in $HOME/com.emc.ide.external.dfc_1.0.0/documentum.config.

Then, when you are connected, you can choose to import artifcact (types for example) from the repository to your dar file.

Generate your dare fil and then install it using DAR Installer.
