Download a file

Hi ,

IN WDK we have a tag called <dmf:filebrowse /> to upload a file from our local system to repository . like that i need to download a file from repository for that we have any tag that is used for downloading to our local system

You may try "actionlink" tag and specify the action as "export" . This is provided by the dmformext_1_0.tld

Something like this:

<dmfx:actionlink action='export' datafield='object_name' name='expLink' >

<dmf:argument name='objectId' datafield='r_object_id'/>

</dmfx:actionlink>

This will display a link, on click of which the document (specified as r_object_id) would be exported (export action would be invoked). I don't think there is a single tag (like filebrowse) that does the whole step.

Is the dataobject fetched in the JSP? only then you would be able to use the datafield.

inside webtop search for JSP's that contain the text "actionlink"; that will serve as an example for you.

HI ,

i have a issue that <dmfx:actionlink /> this tag is working in FireFox but not in IE and <dmf:filebrowse />

tag is working in IE but not in FireFox can you tell how can we use these tags in all browsers.

what do you mean by not working in IE? id the link itself not displayed or the export is failing? if export is failing, is it working in the normal way (select the document, go to file->export)?

Make sure you have the right version of IE and JRE installed (refer webtop release notes); also check if the JRE is enabled for internet explorer.

Hi,

In IE the Id link is displaying ,after selection destination directory. export is not happening.

but its is working fine in firefox.
