What kinds of documents can be stored in documentum docbase?

Hi,

We are using a custom app to connect to documentum and store documents. Currently we are just storing PDF files. But would like to give our users flexibility to add other document types as well. But not sure which ones are supported by documentum.

Does anyone know what file extensions are supported by documentum?

Currently we have: -  

- Documentum xPlore Version: 1.0

- Content Server version: 6.6

Any kind of files.  Documentum stores the files as binary.

That being said, there is a list of file formats that xPlore can index for searching purposes.  The list is in the appendix of one of the xplore manuals.  Its pretty broad - most popular applications that are current today can be indexed.
