Setting Default Values for the Document Object

Hi,

I have created the Metadata asn associated with document object. Now I would like to know, how to set the default values for those fields? I'm trying to implement this in both web components as well as in desktop components.
Your immediate help would be appreciated.

You may want to go Library Manager to setup the default values for Metadata.
