Windows 2003 Server (Standard edition)
TeamSite 6.5 SP1
We have been running in this configuration for a few months with very light usage.
As expected on Monday our usage went way up.
Every night we reboot the server.
Today, our file shares are not responding in a timely fashion. All file shares, not just iwserver. Some times, it takes about 5 minutes to get a response. During that time Windows Explorer on the client workstation is locked up.
However - I can create a remote terminal connection to the server and navigate around without any issues. (Y: included).
Our server group can't find anything wrong - they have disabled just about everything they can think of.
Any clues?

Have you had your network group analyze the traffic to and from the server. If the server group can not find any issues that would be where I would go next.
Current Project: TS 6.1
Environment: Windows

We found that the "locking up of the shares" only occured while using MS Explorer to navigate around drive. ALL other applications (DOS, UltraEdit, Homesite...) all worked okay.
Bottom line - DO NOT RUN WINDOWS SP1 AND TEAMSITE SP1 together.
To correct the problem we reinstalled EVERYTHING (O/S included)
