Workflow Reporting and Historical report not working

Hi,

I do not see anything under Tools -> Workflow -> Workflow Reporting in Documentum 6.7. I used this feature in 5.3. Is there any configuration missing in our environment. I am using DA. Also I did run Tools -> Workflow -> Historical Report (-> Process or User). I did not get anything even if I have some history.

Please share your knowledge and experience.

Giving him permissions to Configure audit is the first step. Now you need to click on Audit Mgmt and enable the workflow events for auditing. This is described in Documentum Administrator guide. Once auditing is turned on, you can start a workflow and see workflow history report. You will not see this for workflows that were started before auditing was enabled.

Did you enable auditing? History report gets its information from auditing of workflow events.

How and where can I enable auditing? are you talking about the extended permissions to the performer of the activity? I gave "Config, view and Purge Audit" to that performer. Now he could see "Workflow Reporting" only for running workflows, even if the user selcts "All Workflows" in the dropdown list (top left corner of the Workflow Reporting window. Also the user cannot see "Historical report" enabled.

Please advise me.

It worked. I could configure auditing. Also trying to understand various features like auditing on so many attributes/events etc.

If I remember correctly, there is Appendix in Content Server Fundamentals manual that describes ALL of the system events that are auditable.

Hi Johny

I manually run the dm_WFReporting job and audit_old_values=T . I have audit access.I added the dm_completedworkflow event in the "Audit Management" but still i am not able to see only the "Completed" woorkflow. dmc_completed_workflow and dmc_completed_workitem doesnt contain any data . I tried to validate after this.Can you please help me in this
