How can I verify JMS is running?

Hi,

How can I verify JMS is running? We installed CS 6.7/Oracle 11.2/Tomcat 6.0 on a single AIX box recently. Also deployed Webtop 6.7 and DA 6.7. Started docbase and docbroker. Could loginto Webtop and DA, but I am not sure whether JMS is running or not? How can I verify? Where does the log file exist?

Is it located under "/documentum/dctm_shared/jboss5.1.0/server/DctmServer_MethodServer/logs"? I see the following logs under this path:

AcsServer.log
ServerApps_trace.log
acs_trace.log
ServerApps.log
acs.log

Which of the above is JMS log? How can I verify JMS is running?

Hi,

You can also check if the JMS is up or runing.Try following URL to check if the JMS is up or not

http://<Content Server Host>:9080/DmMethods/servlet/DoMethod

change the port number if you have some other port number configured. By default it is 9080.

The JMS log should be at:

/documentum/dctm_shared/jboss5.1.0/server/DctmServer_MethodServer/log/server.log

In our Development environment under "/documentum/dctm_shared/jboss5.1.0/server/DctmServer_MethodServer/" I do not see "log" directory at all, but I see the same in our Production environment. The Development environment was prepared by some body recently. Do you think it is not configured correctly? The difference in DEV and PROD is as follows:

In PROD CS, Oracle atabase and Tomcat are on three (3) different AIX boxes, where as in DEV all are on the same box.

How to tackle this issue?

Please advise me.

Finally I could find the server.log. I found the JMS not running. I started it. I also could verify the same using rajeshshivekar's URL. It is very helpful.
