Link Browser
Mar
We're using Teamsite v5.52. Our content is organised in a branch structure with several branches, sub-branches and sub-sub branches. When a users is creating / updating content and needs to add a link to existing content held in another branch/sub-branch they use the Browse button in the DCT - this brings up the Link Browser however only directories within that sub-branch are displayed. Is it possible to configure the Link Browser to display all branches and sub-branches that the individual has rights to - not just the sub-branch they are working in.
thanks

Yes, you can browse to the other workarea, branches also, you need to write a callout for that.
Try searching in forums and techlib, you will get the redymade solution also (by Greg).
Thanks Nicholas

This is another evidence that Interwoven needs to listen to the majority of clients and provide a native interface to their file browse. I've been talking about this for a few years.
for the time being you can use a file browser callout or a directory browser callout that I have written, they are available from the technical library. Directory browser has been ported to 6.X, file browser not as yet, but this is an easy task..
