Process Builder versus Workflow Manager - What is BPM?

Hi,

I am curious about the Process Builder versus Workflow Manager which is still being used. I need to know what the differences in using Process Builder versus Workflow Manager are. May be I need to read to read either release notes or developer guide or user guide for Process Builder. I need to know which version gives more info. Probably 6.0. If You have more info, please let me know.

Can I deploy and work what all the workflow templates I created using Workflow Manager onto Process Builder?

What is BPM? Can I get any powerlink documentation on this? Which one is the best? How does it differ from Process Builder?

BPM stands for "Business Process Management". It's also the name of an EMC Documentum offer a few years ago. BPM offer has been completed and his now integrated into xCP product line.

Brocess Builder is the up-to-date tool to design workflows/processes. Process Builder is part of Documentum xCP platform and is much more powerfull that the legacy Workflow Manager. Take a look at the attached file "xCP-BPM-workflow-comparison.pdf" for a detailled gap analysis between the 2 software.

Workflow templates created with Workflow Manager should be editable with Process Builder without any problem.
